The remarkable benefits of the implementation of solar power systems have been globally widespread. The full potential of shifting to this kind of power source has been visible to any part of the world.
Solar Power Became Mandatory in an Indian State |
Like in India which has an intense population and is greatly exposed to the sun which made the country highly capable to effectively produce solar power. Due to this aspect, the Indian government unveiled a high cost budget in July 2009 which is set to produce a 20GW of solar power by the year 2020.
Connected to this visualization, the government of Haryana, a state in North India announced the compulsory use of solar powered equipment and application on all establishments eating up 418sqm or more. This means that property owners must be able to work on their own rooftop solar power installation in order to comply with the said requirement.
A minimum of 1KW of solar panel has become the policy for residential buildings while on the other hand commercial buildings are required to put up a 5KW solar panel whereas Government buildings and government run educational institutions with a connected load of 30kW or more must install 2kW. Hospitals, nursing homes, factories, businesses, accommodation facilities and tourism complexes are required to install a minimum of 10KW solar power system. Those facilities that weren’t able to meet with the said solar requirements will surely be facing penalties.
India’s solar industry implemented this course of action in order for people to experience a clean and almost free energy. Knowing that their country has a high solar insulation, the era of almost free energy is never impossible. Supported by the countries government leader, they have set their solar energy targets to a higher level which is to create solar energy capacity of 100,000MW in 7 years. The r Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is greatly focused and determined to work and get investors for his country’s solar upheaval.
